Home goods and gifts
A warm store for small-batch home goods and gifts, built to raise basket size without feeling pushy.
Concept design with sample products, prices and reviews. Not client work.
A fixed price for the build, and an optional monthly plan after launch. You pay Shopify directly for your plan, so the store and its customers stay yours.
For a shop with products ready to sell. The founding rate covers the first 4 clients, in exchange for honest feedback and permission to show the finished store. After that, the standard rate is CA$1,950.
For owners who'd rather run the shop than the website. One plan, month to month, cancel any time. Every month you see exactly what was done.
Available after launch, for stores I build or existing Shopify stores after a short review.
If you run a service business or a restaurant, a Shopify store probably isn't what you need. I'll tell you so on the call.
I work on one store at a time, so you always know what's happening and when.
We look at your products, customers and delivery area together. You get the pages, product count, price and launch date in writing before anything starts.
I plan the pages and collections and turn your product details into clear, honest store copy.
Theme, products, payments, pickup, delivery and taxes, tested on a phone and a laptop before you see it.
You check everything, I make the agreed changes, and we go live together. A handover call leaves you in control.
Search "Shopify developer Moncton" and many results are agencies based outside the province. Here's how the options compare.
| Question | Hub Signal | Large agency | Out-of-town "local" pages | Doing it yourself |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who you deal with | Patrick, directly, by phone or in person | An account manager and a team | Usually email, often across time zones | You, in the evenings |
| Typical price | CA$1,250 founding (first 4 clients), then CA$1,950, fixed | Often CA$10,000 and up | Varies, often hourly | Your Shopify plan plus your time |
| Timeline | 2 to 4 weeks, with the date agreed up front | Usually several months | Varies | Whenever you find the time |
| Knows the area | Lives in Moncton, sets up pickup and local delivery for Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview | Sometimes | Rarely | Yes |
| After launch | Optional care plan, month to month | Retainers, often with minimums | Varies | All on you |

I live in Moncton. Before Hub Signal, I built and ran two Shopify stores of my own, so I know what it's like to be the owner checking orders at midnight.
I've also spent more than ten years in operations and logistics, getting products from one place to another on time. A good online store is the same job: clear stock, clear pickup and delivery, no surprises.
I keep Hub Signal small on purpose. One store at a time, a real phone number, and straight answers.
Patrick, Hub Signal
The founding rate covers the first 4 clients while Hub Signal is new to store builds. After that, the standard rate is CA$1,950. In return, I ask for candid feedback, an honest testimonial, and permission to show the finished store. The testimonial doesn't have to be glowing; it has to be true.
No. If you have no online store, I'll build one on Shopify because it's reliable and easy to run yourself. If you already sell through Square or another platform that works for you, I'll tell you honestly whether switching is worth it. Sometimes it isn't.
You do, on your own accounts, so you own the store. Shopify's Basic plan is about CA$37 a month on yearly billing, and a .ca domain is around CA$20 a year. I'll flag any paid app before it's added, so there are no surprise subscriptions.
Two to four weeks once I have your product list, photos, logo and account access. A bigger catalogue or slow feedback can stretch that; we agree the launch date before starting.
Yes. Pickup times and delivery areas for Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview are part of the standard setup.
No. I'll look at what you use now and recommend the simplest setup, including keeping your current till if that makes sense.
Send what you have. I'll clean them up, and I'll tell you straight if a few products need new shots.
Yes. Shopify supports bilingual stores. Tell me on the call and we'll plan the French pages and translations into the scope.
No, and be wary of anyone who promises that. A good store makes buying easier. Your products, prices, photos and how you promote the store matter just as much. I guarantee the agreed build, testing and handover.
Send the basics and I'll reply within two business days, either with a next step or an honest no.
